I believe that the reason why India still remains strong as the number one offshoring destination is the quality results that it brings to companies. If you would think about it, India does offer cheap labor as compared to US workers but if compared to other offshoring destinations, their wages are slightly higher. The rates are also increasing annually and the number of Indian workers who are "job-Hopping" are high.
Despite these set-backs in India, there is no doubt that the country knows how to deliver results and the manner on how to achieve these results.
