The press is finally coming out with articles that suggest that the credit crunch is going to have an adverse effect on the Indian BPO community. That isn't a stretch as financial services companies in the US grapple with the major changes that have been occurring recently.
Of course, this creates an opportunity for potential customers in other industries. Outsourcers will, no doubt, have seats and well-trained employees available - and be in a position to cut some pretty aggressive deals. Thus, it may be wise for those prospective customers to accelerate their plans while other industries are slowing down. Now could be the best time.
