Hitachi Ltd. has teamed up with Intelligroup to establish the Hitachi Global Solution Center in Hyderabad, India.

The Hitachi Global Solution Center will provide global outsourcing capabilities for Hitachi and its customers. It will initially be staffed by 100 highly skilled consultants that will support Japanese and US based companies.

Intelligroup will provide support for Hitachi's global outsourcing activities. The company will perform systems development, maintenance, and support services for enterprise resource planning applications.

Kazuo Furukawa, executive vice president and head of Hitachi's Information and Telecommunication Systems Group said, "The Hitachi Global Solution Center will serve as the foundation for Hitachi's global solutions business, especially global outsourcing services. The center provides IT systems development, maintenance, and support for enterprise applications, supporting a blended offshore/onsite staffing model."
