High End Jobs Going to India

Today's San Jose Mercury News reported on the trend of offshoring higher-end tasks, like graphic design, legal work and other "thought process" tasks. To those of us in outsourcing, this isn't surprising, but to an unsuspecting public uncomfortably used to offshore call centers, the fact that their medical work, newspaper ads, and other knowledge tasks are going offshore may seem a bit troubling.

KPO companies have an opportunity to get "ahead of the curve" a bit on the potential PR problems that could occur as KPO sourcing becomes more widespread. Otherwise, they may suffer a more sophisticated, educated and powerful backlash through the political system.

Outsourcers are parasites on the U.S. labor market.

Fortunatly, our new big brother Obama is goint to protect our market and throw these bums out!
