Current news reports are now featuring the pull out of certain Chinese products which has been tested as "harmful" to the public. These products ranges from cat food, seafoods, toys, tires and many more. Would you consider this as an alarming situation?
Personally, this particular report about outsourcing in China is very ALARMING because it poses as a threat to consumers that buys this kind of product. Though outsourcing in China is cheap, these companies should also consider the quantity of the end result. This article written by Sonia Zjawanski reflects the author's true feelings about outsourcing in China:
Years of warnings?! Shouldn't the food have been temporarily banned once they found a potential problem? Wouldn't a halt in imports of the seafood by the US be the best way to convince these companies to clean up their act?
The Chinese government should implement big actions in this problem the lives of the consumers are at stake here and not just China's reputation as an outsourcing destination.
