Gunman attack unnerves Bangalore outsourcing industry
Last December 28, a gunman attacked the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, India killing one person and injuring four others. The victims were coming out of a conference in IISc when the attacked happened.
Local police have placed the city on high alert and advised outsourcing companies to increase security. They have not confirmed the involvement of terrorists.
A spokeswoman from Wipro (a major outsourcing company in the India) said, "We are concerned about the incident, and we have implemented additional surveillance."
She said that Wipro is already implementing security processes including electronic surveillance, physical checks and restrictions on movement of people and vehicles.

grrr…why is it so important for people to think someone should be hurt to stop something from happening. Great little snippet – if you don’t like outsourcing…Do something constructive about it.
