Gartner will hold its Outsourcing Summit 2006 on April 3-5, 2006 at the Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida.

According to Gartner, although outsourcing has become a mainstream business practice it doesn't necessarily offer a clear path to better business performance, flexibility or even cost savings. For them, organizations should take a strategic approach to outsourcing - Multisourcing.

Guided by the key themes in the book "Multisourcing: Moving Beyond Outsourcing to Achieve Growth and Agility" by Gartner analysts Linda Cohen and allie Young, the Summit will offer details and best practices on this innovative business discipline.

At the Summit, Gartner analysts and practitioners will offer unbiased advice and best practices for setting outsourcing strategies and objectives, evaluating and selecting services providers, managing relationships with partners and delivering outcomes. It will cover seven tracks that are important to the industry. For more information, visit www.gartner.com/us/outsourcing.
