Face Off: India vs. China

Isn't it ironic how both countries want to get each other's forte?
As you could see in my past blog posts, China is getting ready to be an outsourcing hub and taking a slice out of India's profits in outsourcing. On the other hand, there are also news showing India's goal in making a name for themselves in the manufacturing scene.
Instead of seeing "Made in China" all the time, there could be a possibility of seeing "Made in India" somewhere in the future. This could also be confirmed in the survey report based on 340 Fortune 500 companies. The report states that India could be a preferred manufacturing hub in the next 3-5 years. Capgemini, Europe's largest computer consultancy also shared some interesting facts stating that presently, China is the favorite choice for outsourcing manufacturing while India is preferred for information technology, finance and customer services.
Who do you think would succeed? India or China?
