Aside from KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing), another industry is set to join the outsourcing move in India. The time for outsourcing engineering services has arrived.

NASSCOM's recent study revealed that Engineer services (ES) outsourcing has the potential to create an estimated amount of $40 billion dollars in terms of profit. The earnings of the said outsourcing industry could be reached in the year 2020.

If plans for the ES outsourcing would push through, it would be able to create 150,000 to 200,000 additional jobs in India. Kiran Karnik, the president for NASSCOM remarked that India's talent pool would be able to fill the needed employees for this outsourcing industry.
