Egypt is popularly known as the country wherein one could see the historic pyramids.Nowadays, the country is now bringing up its image as an attractive outsourcing-offshoring option for firms.

The country is marketing itself as a favorable outsourcing destination for firms that are considering outsourcing. Egypt claims that their language skills and low labor cost would be able to compete with India in terms of handling outsourced work.

In testament with that, AT Kearney recently ranked Egypt as the 12th most attractive place for outsourcing and offshoring. On the other hand, Datamonitor predicted that the outsourcing industry in Egypt would have a growth rate of 52% in the coming months.

Adel Danish, chairman and CEO of Xceed mentioned an analogy regarding the state of outsourcing in Egypt stating that "Egypt can be for Europe what India is to the US".
