EDS extends multi million dollar BPO deal with La Caixa

Electronic Data Systems and financial services company La Caixa has extended their outsourcing relationship with a $238 million deal. The agreement continues the BPO firm's 9-year partnership with Spanish-based La Caixa.
Under the agreement, EDS will provide IT technology and infrastructure, and add new services such as banking and insurance software development.
La Caixa said the deal will open new branches and increase sales while reducing overall costs supporting their market share growth.
