Discrimination in the Workplace
Filed in archive Outsourcing Issues on April 24, 2007
Let me share something with you, dear readers. If you have been with the corporate world for sometime now, I know that this issue is nothing new to you.
Discrimination is something which is not new in the workplace despite the campaigns and programs dedicated in eliminating such treatment. Even companies are adapting the "equal opportunity" policy which gives all people from different walks of life the right to be considered for employment.
This treatment is not healthy for the company because most people would lose motivation in their work thus producing non-qualitative results.
In outsourcing companies, some still practice such treatment and sadly, it really affects the company and their employees.

Agreed! In my experience, employers who discriminate are also hard to work for in other respects.
