Every outsourcing deals with risks that companies need to face when involved in this kind of business strategy. Though there are risks involve in outsourcing, it does not mean that these outsourcing deals are up for failure.

The best thing that companies need to do is to acknowledge the different outsourcing risks in every outsourcing deal. In this way, they could do something about these risks thus minimizing the potential effect that it could bring.

Compliance risk – Outsourcing should follow standard regulation and unable to do so would cause a lot of problems along the way.

Strategic risk – the strategic risk concerns the whole outsourcing transaction and whether or not this business strategy coincides with the company's future goals.

Information security risk – it talks about private information and data which are handled during the outsourcing process.
