Dell to set new contact centre in Gurgaon, India

U.S. computer maker Dell Inc. will set up a new customer contact center at Gurgaon in Haryana, india.

CEO Kevin Rollins said, "It will be the fourth contact center of Dell in India and will employ 700-1,000 people by the end of 2006 when the total number of employees of Dell will grow to 10,000 in India."

In addition to this, the company has plans to double the size of its India-based product development team to 600 in the next two years.
