Declining Outsourcing Hotspot: Poland

Declining Outsourcing Hotspot: Poland

Some of you might assume that outsourcing only started when India and China were discovered. If you are one of these people who made such assumptions, you are dead wrong.

Outsourcing could be traced way back when European companies were finding ways and measures to cut back on their expenses thus closing their own business to transfer to other countries such as Poland. Though this venture is profitable to Poland, the situation right now is not a good one which threatens Poland's good fortune.

There are two main reasons why Poland is losing its outsourcing touch. These reasons include:
-rising wage rate in Poland
-shortage of skilled workers

If these problems would not be resolved, then their outsourcing venture would really go downhill.

I have to agree–countries like India, China, and the Philippines offer big cost savings to businesses… unless Poland can match that, they don’t stand a chance… if the talent pool in Poland is weak, as this article states, the outlook is truly poor.

Any country irrespective of their stature, finding to cope up the demand for talented pool certainly there will be a setback for the growth. However, thre is some minor problems in India to get adequate skilled engineering for Outsourcing, being a vast country can cope up the demand without much of a problem.
