Data outsourcing is nothing new to companies especially if they have a lot that they wanted to organize or store but they really don't have the time for it.
Sourcing Mag provides a very detailed look of data outsourcing and its facets through their research. The research data was gathered through the survey distributed to different sources like Sourcingmag.com, Application Development Trends, and the likes. The survey had 35 questions and 463 companies participated in it.
Here are the results of the 5 most outsourced function in data outsourcing, now and in the future:
Trouble Ticket/help desk - 18% to 40%
Hardware and Network Operations 22% to 36%
Operations/end user support - 15% to 36%
Disaster recovery/power back-ups - 28% to 35%
Storage management/tape backup - 20% to 31%
The rest could be seen in the image provided.
