CSC and Pan-American Life Insurance have entered into an estimated $27 million, 7.5-year, IT outsourcing agreement.

Under the deal, CSC will be responsible for Pan-American's data center operations, network operations and desktops. CSC will provide support in the United States, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Puerto Rico. Additionally, CSC will provide enterprise help-desk services in English and Spanish.

With CSC's outsourcing support, Pan-American will be able to standardize processes companywide and gain access to the latest technology and industry best practices. The insurance company will also get a more predictable and scalable structure for its IT costs.
