As the name implies, complete outsourcing pertains to outsourcing the whole task or function which leaves companies time and money to focus on core tasks. Here are some of the disadvantages and advantages of complete outsourcing:
Advantages
-saves more on time, effort and energy
-reduces costs in terms of labor, training and equipments
-reduces problems in staff
-provides guidance from the "experts"
Disadvantages
-higher security risk
-less background verification for outsourcing employees
-providing of unfit employees
-less control on quality of work
-unable to motivate employees
-reduced flexibility of operations
Through presenting the different advantages and disadvantages of complete and selective outsourcing, companies would have the chance to examine and see what kind of outsourcing would be more applicable to their business. Though outsourcing offers a great solution for companies, its success would also rely on the company and how it transacts their business transactions.
