Outsourcing Issues
by Carol Kendrick on August 14, 2006

One of the reasons why these companies do not experience a "successful outsourcing transaction" is because of communication problems. An effective communication could bring about a lot of effective changes in an outsourcing contract especially when it comes to monitoring the work flow and the way these tasks are done Through outsourcing and offshoring, the term "remote communication" was introduced.
The major problem identified in remote communication was decision lag. Decision lag pertains to the time difference in making a decision regarding a certain matter because there are times wherein a simple decision could take hours or even days to make. The time wasted in this kind of communication pattern makes the outsourcing business strategy a lost one.
In order to overcome this kind of communication problem in outsourcing, communications in outsourcing contracts should be done in an orderly yet effective way.

Well, and so on time management is important as its linked with communication process, also the outsourcing partner should have capability to manage soft issues like culture and innovation and building a mutually beneficial and positive working relationship with your their clients.
