A lot of research tasks are joining the outsourcing move but it seems like clinical research would have to wait awhile in order to implement their outsourcing plans.

There are three main reasons identified as the "culprits" on why clinical research outsourcing have not yet pushed through. These reasons are:
-lack of awareness
-infrastructure bottleneck
-limited supply of trained manpower

Though problems may seem to complicate clinical research outsourcing's growth, many people still remains positive regarding its outsourcing future. One consulting official mentioned that it is an upcoming industry and the first thing that this industry needs to find is qualified workers who could be trained.

Personally, I see clinical research outsourcing as a "wait and see" type because most of the tasks here are rather complex as compared to other outsourced tasks.
