CIOs Divided About Outsourcing
Filed in archive Outsourcing Issues on September 26, 2006
This is something interesting. It looks like CIOs are still divided in the subject of outsourcing and almost everyone of them have their own opinion in regards to the outsourcing industry.
Some CIOs view it as a strategic business move which would help the company despite the negativity regarding the subject. On the other hand, there are also CIOs that who believes that outsourcing is not a strategic business move which would only endanger the company.
Despite the indecision of CIOs about outsourcing, almost all of them agreed that cost-saving is the main reason why firms outsource.
These views were expressed during the silicon.com CIO Forum.
