China’s Big 10 Outsourcing Cities

China is intent on partaking the outsourcing market by making sure that their cities are up and running in accommodating the outsourcing needs of companies.
China's game plan is to develop 10 outsourcing cities by the year 2010. Personally, I refer to this as the "Big 10 in 2010". The first base cities that are now undergoing the needed development are Shanghai, Dalian, Xi'an, Shenzhen and Chengdu.
Fu Ziying, the Assistant Minister of Commerce remarked that their plans would be able to encourage 100 multinationals to shift offshore outsourcing services to China as well as in catering to 1,000 large and medium-sized service outsourcing companies.
Sounds ambitious but it could actually work, especially if China would be able to achieve their long-term goal in outsourcing.
