Chile: Another Outsourcing Destination

I think its safe to say that every country wants to have a piece of the outsourcing pie and another addition on that list is Chile.

Chile is now focusing its efforts in their goal of attracting companies to consider the Latin-American country as an outsourcing destination. TCS, an Indian-based outsourcing giant already announced their support to the said country. Some companies have already established several outsourcing contracts in Chile. Some of these companies includes reservations operations for Delta Air Lines and Air France, customer service units for Citigroup, jpmorgan, Unilever and Zurich Financial Services.

One advantage mentioned by Constanza Donoso, a representative of the Chilean Economic Development Agency is the "no time zone" difference between Chile and US. This reason could equate to better performance in terms of outsourced tasks.
