Certification Program in India

Outsourcing in India has certainly reached a different kind of level with the launch of the certification program.

The certification program in India was seen as a "competency assessment" which aims to answer the problems in shortage of outsourcing workers in India as well as the quality issues in the Indian outsourcing industry.

This was brought about by the research study done by NASSCOM which showed that in the year 2010, India could suffer a shortfall of at least 500,000 skilled IT workers. As of the present, only 10-15% of the college graduates in India are suitable to work for the outsourcing industry.

The certification program would certainly be a big help in India's outsourcing industry and their goal to stay on top.
