Obtaining a certification in outsourcing seems like a good way to ensure that quality service in outsourcing is being observed. Industry experts are also expressing their approval in this kind of practice.

The idea of certification in outsourcing came about through the launch of the Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT (COMIT) by the singapore Computer Society. Industry experts stated that "It is about time the industry found a standardized way of benchmarking an IT professional's outsourcing management skills." Surely, this kind of statement certainly expresses approval in this case.

On the other hand, firms who are thinking of outsourcing could be assured that their outsourced tasks are in safe hand because of the proof that these certification seems to project. As for outsourcing providers, having their own outsourcing certificate would certainly attract more companies towards the outsourcing decision.
