Cadmus acquires outsourcing firm

Brazilian-based Cadmus has acquired the outsourcing division of local IT firm Sky Software. The company expects to raise 2 million reais (US$ 937,000) additional revenues for the year.
The Sky Software deal marks the beginning of a series of acquisitions by Cadmus this year. The IT firm and distributor has been searching for small and medium-sized companies as acquisition targets.
Sky Software's outsourcing division was chosen because its potential to provide services to large clients. With the deal, Cadmus is now in charge of seven contracts including Scania, Ita Seguros, Engebrs and Americanas.com.
