With the support of its private and public sectors, Botswana is aggressively pursuing contact center outsourcing as a new business industry. The country aims to become a lower-cost contact center destination than other locations.

Research and Markets offers a report on Botswana's contact center industry. In the report, Botswana's advantages were named: political and economic stability, excellent English-language skills and generous incentives. Aside from these, the country has potential for offshore diversification and back-office functions. Disadvantages named were high telecommunications costs and limited scalability.

The report also includes market size and composition data for Botswana, and key competitive challenges and strategic recommendations for vendors.
