Outsourcing your blogging needs is considered as another function which could be outsourced. The question here is its effectiveness.
Some companies are wary to outsource blogging because of the information they are providing these outsourcing employees. On the other hand, there is also the effectiveness of this method as it blogging becomes more personal which is really the truth thus enticing more and more people to read it.

Definitely. While there's nothing "wrong" with outsourcing blogging, much like PR, it tends to lose some of its "magic." When you outsource blogging it ends up sounding intensely impersonal (because it is!). Still, this will become fairly standard practice because blogging internally would cause a slight shift in corporate culture and perspective – a shift many companies will try to avoid.
Do you agree that this trend would flourish? Personally, yes. The reasons? Well, there is the cost, quality as well as a different perspective in this kind of job.
