Big Companies Practice IT Outsourcing
Filed in archive Outsourcing News on April 8, 2007
If you think that big companies are foregoing IT outsourcing then you are wrong.
Back in 2003, the research report done by Aberdeen reported that the whole IT outsourcing industry only revealed a 1% growth rate. This rate was not repeated again as big names in the business world began to adapt IT outsourcing for their own IT-related operations.
Rick Saia, a research analyst for Aberdeen also expressed his opinion stating that IT outsourcing is growing because of its expected returns in companies. Aside from that, he also stated that "this (IT outsourcing) is very important as companies compete for customers and rely on technology to help end users be more productive, which can lead to lower costs, higher revenues, and more profit."
And you know what? I actually I agree with him.
