Atos Origin wins IT outsourcing agreement from Germany’s Premiere
Atos Origin strengthens its media outsourcing position by inking a deal with Premiere, the leading pay TV operator in Germany and Austria. The 10-year, �100 million, IT outsourcing contract will take effect on September 1, 2005.
The company will manage non-core IT functions for Premiere. These will include desktop and server management, operation and development of back office applications and company-specific software, and management of IT support for all PC workstations at Premiere in Germany and Austria. In addition, More than 100 Premiere IT staff based in Hamburg and Munich will transfer to Atos Origin.
Atos Origin adds Premiere to its list of clients which also includes KarstadtQuelle/Itellium, e-Plus and Deutsche BP.
