Adaptis Consulting Services Inks First Deal
Adaptis, BPO provider for the healthcare industry, launched its new consulting services by signing a deal with the Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM). Adaptis will provide business process mapping which will show HPSM's current operational environment and financial benefits. HPSM is a mixed model health care plan for eligible residents of San Mateo Medi-Cal and members of public health plan programs.
Pamela F. Fowler, Adaptis VP of Sales and Marketing, said that health plans should understand the complexities of their business operations to remain competitive and grow strategically. She said, "With our health care roots, Adaptis is uniquely well-suited to quickly understand a health plan's particular business drivers." She explained that Adaptis helps health plans remain competitive by providing them with a transformational strategy. This will include mapping operations and services, and providing functional overlays and concrete recommendations.
Michael W. Murray, Executive Director of the Health Plan of San Mateo added, "We are financed primarily from public funds and continually strive to maximize the amount of those dollars going to health care services for our members. We believe that Adaptis' strong history with Medicaid plans can help us better achieve our goal to operate a growing number of product lines at the lowest administrative costs."
