Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) has partnered with Microsoft to provide development and marketing resources to deliver its fire department records management system, ACS FIREHOUSE Software, on the Microsoft .NET platform.

ACS FIREHOUSE Software is a comprehensive fire department records management system. The software includes incident reporting, EMS/search & rescue reporting, staff activity & training, and records management. With Microsoft's .NET platform, ACS FIREHOUSE Software solutions will have long-term support of its client base by providing capabilities such as standards-based Web services, rich integration, and versatile mobility.

Tom Burlin, Group President of ACS Government Solutions, said that the alliance with Microsoft "enhances ACS' ability to facilitate public safety projects." He added, "Our justice and public safety practice serves police, fire, court, and other emergency response agencies across the country and around the world with integrated technologies and business process outsourcing solutions."
