This was the sentiment of Outsourcing advisory firm, EquaTerra as they observe a growing inclination for Accounting Outsourcing. Here is an interesting paragraph from this news piece:

One third of the company's advisors cited finance and accounting outsourcing as a leading demand area in the second quarter of this year. Demand for these services is particularly strong in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Outsourcing vendors should be able to protect the privacy of their clients because if not, I don't think that Accounting outsourcing would be promising as a successful function of KPO.
