According to the Times, Accenture is set to receive a £500 million outsourcing deal by consumer goods giant Unilever.

Although the official announcement about the multi-million deal would likely be made in March, the Times suggest that Accenture is the leading candidate for the contract. The agreement includes back-office functions for Unilever's human resources, learning and procurement operations.

Recently, Accenture signed a £329 million HR outsourcing deal with BT, and entered into talks with Dutchlinks bank ING Groep over a major IT and network outsourcing contract.
