8 Signs for Readiness in Outsourcing

It seems like it is a week of number since I am now posting the 8 points which was written in this article by Jennifer Zaino. The said article talks about the 8 signs (or points) which companies should look for before embarking on outsourcing.

This is needed in order for companies to evaluate if outsourcing would be the best strategy for them or if it is better left unexplored. Here are the 8 points mentioned:

-You haven't done due diligence on potential vendors.
-You don't have any plans for managing the relationship on an ongoing basis.
-You don't have your own house in order.
-You can't compromise on customization.
-You can't wait-literally-to get to market.
-Your organizational culture is more about confrontation than collaboration.
-You won't be ready to move forward aggressively on your plans.
-Your expectations about cost-savings are unrealistic.

So, do you recognize any of these points in your company? Well, if you do you better do something about this fast in order to resolve all the problems before this could be carried over to outsourcing.
