Outsourcing News
by Carol Kendrick on March 1, 2007

Hitachi Data System recently conducted a survey among 100 Chief information offices (CIOs) located in the Asia Pacific region and 64% of the participants revealed that outsourcing providers could be effective in building ROI assessments for their storage investments. Aside from that, the survey also revealed that 45% of the companies are aiming to reduce storage management cost while 38% remarked that meeting their IT infrastructure is their number one priority.
The importance of storage is mentioned in the study because most of these companies are not able to deal with the maintenance of it hence the outsourcing decision. Though they are resigned in outsourcing this particular task, these companies are still particular when it comes to security details in their outsourcing deals.

where I included links to the most recent posts on your blog. I have been looking for a single site where I can get a quick update on outsourcing related news and opinion. I am trying to make this new site fulfill that role. It already includes the 3 to 5 most recent posts/articles from about 25 blogs and newspapers. I also included an open discussion board. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Also, if you do not want me to include the links to your site, please let me know. Thank you,
